Tips Pre-Waxing

• Make sure you grow your hair out to at least a ¼ inch ( ½ inch is preferable the first time) before waxing.
• It's best if you exfoliate the skin are being waxed the day before your appointment. This will remove dead skin and help the wax to grip the shorter hairs.

Tips Post Waxing

• Make sure you stay out of the sun 24 hours before and after you get something waxed.
• For pain relief use a first aid antibiotic gel if needed.
• DO NOT go swimming or into a hot tube for 48 hours. Chlorine, heat and/or salty water may irritate the skin.
• Keep your clothing loose and let you skin breathe.
• 48 hours after your waxing exfoliate your skin to keep your waxing area from getting clogged pores or causing ingrown hair.

You Can’t Wax If…

• If you currently have sunburn, sorry you can’t wax until your skin is completely healed.
• Certain medications cause issues such as Accutane, Renova, Differin, or Retin-A.
